Jeremy Manuel

Jeremy co-founded Manuel Swaden in 1989, with the aim of providing high quality personal service to all clients. He has extensive experience of the laws relating to property investment, development and trading. He serves a wide range of clients including major PLC's, property investment, development companies and individuals.

In addition Jeremy is committed to the idea of effective dispute resolution and is a commercial mediator trained by and accredited with CEDR (centre for effective dispute resolution ). He is a panel mediator for Dispute Mediation Limited and a contributory author to "ADR and Commercial Disputes" , published by Sweet and Maxwell (2001). He also chairs a national charity , the Gauchers Association which provides support for and advocacy on behalf of patients with Gauchers disease , (a rare genetically inherited disorder) , for which he was awarded an O.B.E. in the Millennium Honours list . He is a Freeman of the City of London.

 

 

Michael Swaden

Michael's expertise in Civil Litigation and employment has developed over many years. He specialises in commercial disputes, debt recovery and insolvency work. He provides a full range of employment services and often attends meetings at his clients place of business and is therefore able to advise on site with a full knowledge of the personnel involved.

Michael heads up the Wills and Probate section of the practice combining sound practical advice with a caring and understanding approach which is particularly needed when dealing with the elderly client.

Seena Sakran

Seena was admitted in 2000 after having specialised in Crime and Immigration. Prior to joining Manuel Swaden she had set up and headed an in house Advocacy Unit. She now specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, and provides practical support to senior members of our team.

Howard Golker

Howard specialises in secured lending. He has spent a large part of his professional life as a partner in a busy Harrow practice prior to joining Manuel Swaden.
Howard has over thirty years experience in property related work, wills and probate.

Lady Morris of Kenwood

Lady Morris has extensive experience in all areas of property law including acquisitions of leases and licences for retail warehousing on behalf of private & public companies.
Among her many other activities she is a part time chairman of the Social Security Appeals Tribunal (SSAT) and Vice-President of "Women of the Year Lunch & Assembly".
She is also a Director of an art gallery (Connaught Brown).

 

Alison R Noyes

Alison has extensive experience in general commercial property work, including purchases and acquisitions, with a particular emphasis on landlord and tenant matters (acting, variously, for both landlords and tenants). She is also developing the firm’s enfranchisement practice. Alison trained in a central London firm, qualifying in 1997. She later spent two years in the City and joined Manuel Swaden in March 2004, being made Associate of the firm in July 2004. Alison acts for a wide range of clients: individuals, small businesses and major PLCs.
